Kento “Kenty” Nakajima (中島健人), the accomplished TV and film actor, singer and performer from the J-Pop idol group Sexy Zone, can now add another landmark moment to his expansive list of credentials in the entertainment industry.

The multi-faceted talent has boldly expanded his creative horizons with the release of the self-produced concept video for “ROSSO”, his solo song from Sexy Zone’s ninth studio album ‘Chapter II‘.

The concept video was made available on June 25 exclusively via Kenty’s personal Instagram account of over one million followers at https://www.instagram.com/kento.nakajima_j313. (Link to Video Below).

The visuals from the “ROSSO” concept video masterfully mirror the mystique of sophistication and sensuality that the song’s audio projects within its eclectic pop, jazz and R&B infused soundscape.

The choice of the principle scenery in the video, including symbolic props and the dapper outfits which Kenty and the background dancers sport, are all contributing factors in driving the appeal of the concept video, while also tying it into the lyricism and theme of “ROSSO” itself.

Viewers will also marvel at the smooth, polished choreography throughout the visual presentation which incorporates a variety of expressive and contemporary dance styles; literally poetry in motion telling the story of the song through movement.

Official Statement from Kenty

My objective in conceptualizing this “ROSSO” music video was to give the fans an unforgettable precious gift in my twenties, yes at 29. And to validate my thoughts, feelings, creativity and status as an artist.

So I took it as a challenge. I, together with the team started to plan from zero and brain-storming about the concept, structure, location, and of course the whole production cost itself (whew!) Honestly as a first timer, it wasn’t that easy but we’re all so proud with the finished product. Great job guys, we made it! Mission accomplished. Kudos!

I’m very happy and yes so proud with the result and so grateful to everyone involved in this project. Glad that I was able to make concept video that I hope inspires and uplift a lot of people and I also wish this CV of mine reaches the world. Thank you all so much for making this possible. This made me realize that my feelings and thoughts as an artist is valid.
