Who are Tall Children?

The name gives off the impression of perhaps a duo, trio or four-piece band, but to my surprise….

Tall Children is a solo UK singer-song writer guitarist by the name of Ben Hughes.

Ben started his musical journey with a passion for guitar, steering his way to eventually becoming a singer-songwriter.

About “Last for Long”

“Last for Long” his latest release is a snappy pop classic; the song paints a picture of (enjoying your moment) because “it’s never gonna last for long”.

This hand clapping, foot stomping beat glides along invitingly, while the rhythmical sub-bass bounces like a pumping heartbeat with a rich array of melodies that unite cohesively.

The soft harmonic nuances fill the track with richness and in contrast the guitar brightens with its cheerful sound.

“It’s time to be alive” echoes back with a layer of clever call & response chants, creating a cool and catchy feel.

Tall Children’s vocals combined with this upbeat track, interestingly remind me of Ed Sheeran & Justin Timberlake combined.

Punchy and catchy, this really is a song that gives off an overall nice vibe.

All the traits of a club classic.

I’m sure that Ben Hughes/Tall Children will be around longer than the name of the title track suggests.
