Vibe Tyson Takes You On a Musical Journey – “Vacation Day”(MUSIC REVIEW)
“Vacation Day” by Vibe Tyson
Vibe Tyson is an R&B singer/producer from Germany, who has created a catchy track with his song “Vacation Day”.
There are some songs that grow on you over time, and others that pull you in within the first ten seconds.
“Vacation Day” does just that by immediately tantalizing you with its calming lyrics and energy feel sound.
Listening to the subtle chords in the intro I wasn’t quite sure where the track would rise to next?
And then, “instantaneously the beat exploded into an infectious solid rhythm” which had me rocking and tapping in all the right places (club, dance studio or home)…
No matter where you are, as your ears absorb this track, dance you will……
It’s not just lyrics that hold the hooks in.
Music, melodies, rhythms and riffs all play their part in leaving a lasting impression.
For me, the pulsating high hats captivated me with their sharp sounds and added a touch of refined reverb giving them a sharp clarity.
What is “Vacation Day” speaking on?
“Vacation Day” is about putting the stresses and worry aside, Tyson opens the verse with a hook (“sometimes I just wanna be alright”).
I think we all can relate to that…..
As the song flows along, the mellow lyrics and ad libs which sit in their dedicated place, fit together really well.
The smooth bass line weaves in and out, almost carefree, supporting the drums favorably.
Vacation Day is a well mixed track!
I like the way Vibe places each instrument in its natural place, without cramping other sounds, (“a bit like when you bake a cake and each ingredient lays within its dedicated place”)
As a young singer/producer Vibe Tyson looks like he’s found his sound!
No doubt we will be hearing a lot more from this young talent.
I like this track, I’ve got the Vibe!
