“Anywhere you gooooo… I’ll be right there right beside ya”. These words echo with a resounding presence as if bellowed across a cavernous canyon as the intro to “Anywhere” by New Jersey based recording artist and producer Matthew Mc Gowan takes flight.
“Anywhere” is a vibrant track off of Matthew’s recent 6-track EP release Good Vibes. The track has a distinct sound that seamlessly blends the styles of the various sub-genres within the pop and EDM spaces, while it also maintains a clear-cut danceability.
Synth-laden rhythms and ethereal background elements make up the bulk of the composition which possesses a futuristic, other worldly mystique.
Kudos are in order as I believe the exceptional sound design plays a huge factor in projecting that vibe; the vocals and instruments are dipped in just the right amount of hall reverb which not only accentuates their individual sounds but carries the track overall to indomitable heights.
