More About Nocko

Nocko got his start in the music industry as a producer and was quickly introduced to the shady side of the music industry by being coerced into signing a bad contract. This made Nocko take himself out of the “game” for the duration of his contract.

Nocko re-entered the industry programming tours and television shows for Case, Genuine and others. He returned to the studio and co-wrote and produced I Love You for Dru Hill. Nocko advanced throughout the music industry as a producer, songwriter, engineer and programmer for various artist from T.I. to TPain.

Because of his athletic size, Nocko was asked to be on a couple television shows BET’s The Game and HBO’s Ballers. He was also the M.D. of the band that provided the music for Ludacris’ television performances on David Letterman, Ellen, Jay Leno, Saturday Night Live (with Mary J. Blige, T. Pain), Jimmy Kimmel Live etc. Nocko also co-produced many hit records with Mannie Fresh on artists such as Young Jeezy, T.I., Frankie J, Juvenille, Rick Ross, Monica and so on.

Nocko made the seamless transition to becoming an artist mainly to be able to cathartically express what he’s been thru coming up as a black kid in urban America. Everyone who listens to Nocko’s music hears the experiences he’s been thru but more importantly can close their eyes and be right there in those past experiences, with him.
