Apple Music not only gave a ringing endorsement to the surging career of reggae artist Koffee, but also provided a resounding referendum on reggae music by naming Koffee as the latest addition to their Up Next Series.

As the article below from www.musicweek indicates, Koffee has been placed on many prominent playlists curated by Apple Music.

She currently also charts at #1 on the Apple Music Reggae Song charts and #3 on the Reggae Albums list.

I believe this will do wonders for Koffee’s already emerging career. As part of the Up Next program, she is due to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live on June 13.

This is a huge step forward in her career as she will gain exposure to Kimmel’s large viewership and a wider nationwide audience overall.

Ultimately, as Koffee states in the interview, I agree with her that this will be a positive step for reggae music as a whole. Hopefully, this Apple Music feat will be a stepping stone for future reggae artists to come.

What impact, if any, do you think this will make on Koffee’s career and the reggae music genre? Boooooooooooom!

Apple Music has unveiled Koffee as its latest Up Next artist. Across Apple Music, the Jamaican-born reggae artist has been featured across several playlists, including Run Tings and Breaking Reggae. Koffee has the No.1 single on the Reggae Song Chart on Apple Music and No.3 on the Reggae Album […]

“I’m grateful for all the support and love so far,” said Koffee. “It’s a blessing to be named as the first Reggae Artiste in Apple’s Up Next series and I’m excited for what this means for the genre, my country and its culture on a whole!”

  1. Dancehall going mainstream??? Hmmmm, very interesting choice for the next up. LOove KOFFEE’s music. Hooe she get build from this

    1. Surely there will be a buildup. Don’t think she’ll go mainstream like a Marley thing but her name is going to get out there big time.
