The concept of “Electric” surrounds Patrizia revealing the kinetic energy a love interest makes her feel in a lyricism that’s coyly suggestive and at times straight to the point. You get the picture right from the outset of the song as she sultrily declares, “You make my body….electric!”
Patrizia delivers her signature soulfully rich, sultry vocal performance to this track which accentuates the song’s concept tenfold. She delivers a charismatic vocal presentation which rings with authenticity and easily draws you into the track. You get a sense of the sentiment of the song strongly, for example as she bellows boldly in the hook, “I feel this…..connection…. through my body like electric!”
Patrizia’s alluring voice is surrounded by a bevy of vivacious melodies and rhythms backed by the quintessential heavy snare drum riff, syncopated at times, that drives the core of freestyle music. The title of the song is extremely fitting given the illuminating characteristics of this song, musically, vocally and content-wise.
