Bolstered by a luminous tone and vibe, “Yesterday’s Shoes” is a track whose dazzling production and accompanying vocals display the dexterity of songwriter/producer and multi instrumentalist Nikolai Jones who has adopted the moniker of Wuzy Bambussy.
“Yesterday’s Shoes” serves as the 6th single release in a series of ten singles planned monthly by the UK-based Wuzy.
The musical appeal of the song is driven by big grand piano riffs and surging guitar lead rhythms mixed with electro pop percussion and synth bass components. The brilliant mesh of styles creates quite a unique soundscape and projects a mystique of what I would categorize as an awesome peppy pop style track; jazzy in a sense.
The instrumentation goes through several different twists and turns and makes for an extremely interesting composition and arrangement featuring the bright, enthusiastic vocals of fellow UK talent, Kat Harrison.
