AWAL has appointed Cami Operé as VP, Head of Publicity for AWAL. Operé will round out the company’s marketing and creative team, led by GM and Head of Creative Bianca Bhagat, as well as VPs of Marketing Justin Macchio and Katie Baloian.
Operé previously served as VP of Publicity at Sacks & Co., leading publicity efforts for AWAL acts including Lizzy McAlpine, Jungle, Bruno Major, Eloise and Ber. In addition, she managed press campaigns for a diverse roster of artists including Maren Morris, the Tom Petty Estate, the xx, King Princess, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats, Flume, Aimee Mann and many more.
To date, AWAL’s diverse roster ranges from rising artists to globally renowned acts, including Little Simz, JVKE, Tom Misch, deadmau5/kx5, Disclosure, JPEGMAFIA, Noname, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Young the Giant, SBTRKT, Jungle, Lizzy McAlpine and more.
