The 34-year-old musician, fashion and cosmetics mogul has an updated net worth of $1.4 billion

Rihanna continues to flourish and transcend the fame in which she first established as a musician to become one of the leading names in the fashion and skincare/beauty industries with her renowned brands Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Savage X Fenty.

Exhibiting an incredible work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, Rihanna has hit the record books again as she ranks 21st on the annual Forbes’ list of America’s richest self-made women with a net worth of $1.4 billion. This is Rihanna’s third consecutive year on the coveted list; however, she is the only billionaire aged under 40 on the list so there she goes making history again!

Rihanna is currently enjoying the best of both worlds personally and professionally as her business endeavors have been immensely successful and she’s also experiencing her journey as a new mom with a baby boy that she and rapper ASAP Rocky welcomed into the world on May 13.

Of note, Rihanna supplanted 41-year-old reality star Kim Kardashian as the youngest billionaire on the list.

While these numbers are astronomical, Rihanna has no plans on resting on her laurels anytime soon as she shared in a 2019 interview with The New York Times, “I never thought I’d make this much money, so a number is not going to stop me from working. The money means I can take care of my family. The money means I can facilitate the businesses that I want to. I can create jobs for other people.”

To provide some insight into Rihanna’s business dealings outside of music, she owns 50 percent of Fenty Beauty, which reportedly grossed about $550 million in 2020 and she owns a 30 percent stake in Savage X Fenty, which is valued at $3 billion or more.

Aside from her diligent work with her companies, Rihanna has also found time to engage in a bevy of philanthropic causes via her foundation, the Clara Lionel Foundation, which aims to “support and fund groundbreaking education and climate resilience initiatives”. The initiatives of the organization focus on vulnerable communities, including Black, indigenous and LGBTQ groups.
