Jack Bronco is a recording artist who many music listeners can personally relate to as the Baton Rouge-based creative presents himself 100% raw and authentic on every track he delivers. Openly touching on extremely personal matters such as his struggles with anxiety and depression, to name a few, Jack’s music is devoid of any pretense, and his approach to his artistry is not some sort of caricature of himself or a contrived marketing ploy…Jack Bronco brings the “real” with his music!

Jack has manifested an ability to harness his innermost vulnerabilities and brilliantly shape them into words and song with the release of an intoxicating and intrinsically provocative new album titled “Club X”. It is a 15-track rock and rap extravaganza which Jack Bronco characterizes as, “an autobiography of the past two years using sound as a storytelling vessel.”

“Club X” will leave you completely wowed from the complexities of the sensitive topics and emotions that the lyrics present to the electrifying soundscapes that create a tremendous enigma of sound which envelops your listening senses as you progress through the album.

Jack’s lyricism hits on myriad topics, particularly zoning in on issues prevalent within older teens and young adults…angst, feelings of being misunderstood and the subsequent isolation and anxiety, navigating romantic conflict; friendships, society’s expectations, understanding one’s own mortality and ultimately the pressures of all these issues creating a desire to self-medicate. Club X is a compelling journey into Jack’s life, his perceptions, and intriguing experiences.

As I mentioned above, the album is a hearty rock and rap mashup with the sonics embracing the various subgenres of both forms of music, respectively. Jack injects a gritty industrial, grunge type of rock into songs such as “Holocene,” “Breathe,” and “East of Eden.” He even takes up the rock vibes a notch with “I.D.C.,” which is an invigorating track that has a Clash-like punk rock style.

Flipping over to a more hip-hop/rap experience, Jack brings a magnetically engaging emo/sad rap flow to “Blade,” the album’s title track “Club X,” and “Hotels” while masterfully meshing rap, rock, and pop into a Post Malone-ish song titled “6 Feet”. Furthermore, there’s an interlude “Save Me From Myself” which features a wistful vocal delivery by Jack over predominantly acoustic guitar instrumentation.

The “Club X” album is available on all streaming platforms and you can check out the 15 enigmatic tracks via the Spotify link below.
