Beyoncé Sends the Internet into a Frenzy with Announcement of New Studio Album, “Renaissance”, Dropping July 29

After days of speculation and mounting anticipation, it has been confirmed that Beyoncé is officially back! She revealed that her seventh studio LP “Renaissance” will be released on July 29. The Renaissance LP marks Beyonce’s first full-fledged album in almost six years since Lemonade hit the scene in 2016.
Queen Bey had teased fans with some interesting social media antics over the past few days leading to a bevy of guesswork and innuendo by music fans and pundits, however, ultimately, Beyoncé has revealed the news that legions of her fans have been anxious to hear for some time. The starlet officially revealed the news on social media with the words “act i … RENAISSANCE.”
Although details about the number of tracks have not been revealed, Beyoncé’s website confirmed further details about the contents of the upcoming album’s box-set details, which will contain 28-page booklet and mini poster, as well as a CD, T-shirt, and collectible box.
While Renaissance will mark Beyoncé’s first full-length album since, 2016, she has been involved in other releases over that time having paired up with husband Jay-Z for the Carters’ 2018 album Everything Is Love. Dabbling into film, Beyoncé also contributed music and curated the soundtrack for 2019’s The Lion King: The Gift, in which she also provided the voice for Nala.
Beyoncé has also dropped “Black Parade,” a Juneteenth 2020 tribute single that would subsequently garner her a 2021 Grammy for Best R&B Performance. “Black Parade” also received nominations that year for Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
Last year, once again, Beyoncé contributed to a film project with the release of the single “Be Alive” for the film King Richard which earned the song an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song at this year’s Oscars, the same film for which ironically Will Smith won his Best Actor award following his infamous slap of Chris Rock.
In any case, excitement is brewing amongst the BeyHive and Bey Nation as Beyoncé is set to launch a whole new set of music that is sure to have a lasting musical impact for generations.
