BTS Releases New Anthology Album “Proof”, Three Discs and a Whopping 48 Songs

South Korean megastar group BTS continues to assert their status as international music icons with the release of their first anthology album titled Proof, which is a fitting title given after their full name is Bangtan Sonyeondan, or Bulletproof Boy Scouts in English.
Proof will consist of three-discs holding a 48-song collection of title tracks, members’ selections, demo versions, and songs locked away in the vaunted “unreleased” vault that always seems to hold some potential gems. Surprisingly, the full anthology will not be available on streaming services, as the third disc which contains 13 songs is only available via physical copy. As I mentioned, very surprising given the prominence of streaming by today’s music consumer, however, I am assuming the record company is attempting to create some kind of exclusivity demand, baffling to say the least.
However, in any case, streaming music listeners will still have access to a 35-track BTS bonanza of music including lead single “Yet to Come,” “Run BTS,” and a song dedicated to the fan group ARMY titled “For Youth”.
BTS is absolutely bubbling, not to mention their new music video (link below) for “Yet to Come” has already amassed almost 40 million views after premiering just 15 hours ago. Incredible numbers the 7-member K-Pop group is clocking!
The anthology album release comes at a perfect time for BTS as it is dropped in the midst of Festa which an annual celebration of the group’s landmark debut on the scene June 13, 2013. Well it’s been a tremendous nine year run and no pun intended, but the best is yet to come as these young men’s stars keep soaring into a rarified air with each release and live performance.
