AGAAPI – “Summer Days”: StreamLINE Music EP Review (Dance/EDM)
Sun-drenched, kinetic-infused rhythms take your imagination to the shores of a tropical island beach…or at least a location with a tropical climate…These are the electro island-type vibes that emanate from the beaming 4-song EP project ”Summer Days” by Cleveland-based dance producer Agaapi. The EP is set for release on July 1, and the anticipation is brewing as the 20-year-old recording artist, born Luke Kruschke, has built up a substantial catalog of singles, EP release, and remixes to date since his emergence on the scene in 2020.
“Summer Days” will mark his first release of 2022 and is a follow-up to a rather prolific 2021, which boasted such high flying singles as Light It Up and Scuba Duba. The “Summer Days” EP encapsulates everything Agaapi brings to his productions as it’s endowed with an irresistible barrage of catchy melodies and dance-laden grooves drenched in a spellbinding fusion of titillating electronic soundscapes.
The danceability is unquestionable, and the energy level factor is amplified by all the requisite EDM elements…your risers, drops, buildups, climaxes, and excitement-raising transitions make for a project that resonates with a magnetic liveliness. Agaapi brings you the essence of dance music at its core, in not only the sonics but more importantly, how it makes you feel and “Summer Days” has the distinction of putting your frame of mind into a sunny disposition so to speak.
The four songs on the EP will have you conjuring up all types of tropical, island-themed mental visions, not necessarily relaxing with a drink on a beach chair in the Bahamas, but just being out and about, enjoying the warm weather, basking in the daylight sun or vivacity of the radiant nights. You picture yourself in a variety of scenarios when you immerse yourself in “Summer Days.”
Mark your calendar as the “Summer Days” EP will be available on all streaming platforms July 1. It’s sure to make a splash with music listeners and industry pundits across the globe, no pun intended, once it hits the open market. More About Agaapi
Agaapi is a 20-year-old dance music producer from Cleveland, Ohio. To his friends he is Luke, but to the Internet the shy producer is Agaapi. He came up with the stage name while he was in an English class. They were discussing early greek civilization where he stumbled across the word “Agape” He messed around with the spelling and came up with Agaapi. He tries to embody the meaning of the word by putting as much love into his music and into the world that he can. He creates simplistic yet incredibly catchy music that is easy to enjoy and appreciate with every listen. His ability to utilize beats to keep an adrenaline rush of anticipation till the beat drop shows the classic roots of dance music! With nice-sounding plucks and leads, the songs are easy to follow and get into.
