American deejay and producer DJ Blitz is a cut above your everyday music creator as he infuses an eclectic mix of the wide variety of subgenres which make up the EDM spectrum. As you listen to the diverse tracks in his burgeoning catalog of music, you never know quite what to expect as his songs take on the shape and form of a hodgepodge of different sonics and vibes…each song seems to tell a unique story and present a distinct soundscape.
DJ Blitz, who records under the moniker “imblitzmusic” also distinguishes himself with his artist brand as he humbly chooses to remain relatively anonymous by donning a blue box over his head containing two blacked out eyes and a wry smile which actually quite welcoming, almost like an invitation to jam up to the sounds of his boommode tracks. It should come as no surprise that DJ Blitz is heavily influenced by the iconic DJ/producer Marshmello who chooses to don a similar type of headgear which he has famously worn through his illustrious career.
With that said, today, we’re going to shine a spotlight on DJ Blitz’s latest project, a 7-track album titled “Future II”, which is a sparkling sequel to his previous effort, a 4-track EP titled “Future”. “Future II” is a perfect example of the signature versatility we referenced above when it comes to DJ Blitz’s music. The album bangs hard as it possesses all the core elements of EDM, however, the individual songs carry a one-of-kind tone and aura.
The “Future II” album is rife with the kinetic laden risers, drops, cinematic buildups, abstract instrumentation and imaginative sound design that we’ve all embraced and love about the EDM genre. The project overall is a testament to the adeptness DJ Blitz brings to the game as a producer and his keen ear for arrangement and how to structure a song and composition so that it not only hits you musically but envelops your interest from first note to the end.
Tracks such as “Snails & Laxx…”, “Glitch Speed” and “Herobust & Monx…” are juiced up with a big room/drum and bass vibe. They contain majestic-type soundscapes that loom with a larger-than-life attitude and draw you in with an assortment of modulated sounds and oscillators. As I mentioned before, the sound design is incredible throughout this album, and it truly enhances the listening experience.
DJ Blitz reverses course on tracks such as “Hangover (Remix)”, “Love on Me Future Two” and “Sunset Future Two” which present a more melodic side of the album, groove focused rhythms and phrases which amplify the danceability factor of these songs exponentially. They have a tropical house, electropop type of vibe and are laced with an assortment of catchy vocal interpolations.
Another standout track “Anime Love” displays DJ Blitz’s skillset even more overtly as it contains an R&B, hip-hop trap sound that is drenched with an ethereal atmospheric effect and vocals that give it a seductive, sultry feel which is extremely fitting given the title.

DJ Blitz announced earlier he’s going to have music videos in his album and most recently vampi is coming back on Future 3.
