Griegz is a multi-faceted producer, recording artist, musician and DJ hailing from Canberra, Australia. The astute music savant has cut his teeth in music dating back to his roots as a drummer in several bands throughout his schooling which covered a wide variety of genres. This expansive musical background was a key factor in developing Griegz’s enduring appreciation for all styles of music and led to his ultimate progression into studio production and DJ’ing where he has established himself as a bona fide figure in the industry whether it’s crushing a live DJ mix set playing out or crafting another topflight composition behind the control boards in the studio….
Griegz has graced the music world with another spectacular song and composition titled “Figured Out” via Teamwrk Records which features the lofty and dynamic vocals of the classically trained singer/songwriter Bobby John. “Figured Out” continues Griegz’s prolific pace in 2022 as it follows up his three previous releases already this year, Undone, Loser and Don’t Need Your Love (P.S. These are awesome tracks as well, check them out ASAP!)
“Figured Out” boasts the grandiose soundscapes that have come to characterize a Griegz production as it boasts an alluring pop/rock sound that glistens from opening note to the end. It enters ever so mellow with a melodic acoustic guitar riff then builds up into a magnificent crescendo of crashing drums and an assembly of transfixing electric guitar phrases. The instrumentation percolates across your listening senses in a grand fashion with its seamless timing and transitions…. a testament to the pristine arrangement. So, what’s the concept behind “Figured Out”?!?
The track touches on the uncertainty and see saw of emotions that people can encounter when dealing with a blossoming love or potential romance. Griegz elaborates, “Sometimes a perfect fit and an obvious love never happens thanks to life’s terrible timing. Figured Out takes you through the questioning moments of trying to figure out if that spark between two people will ever become more, since each time you’re about to let it go, life throws you a curve ball putting you right back in questioning mode.”
Bobby John’s demonstrative vocal performance projects the emotions of this theme magnificently via perfectly placed inflections and displaying a keen showmanship in altering his timbre and cadence in line with whatever the lyrical content conveys.

More About Griegz
Griegz is a music producer from Canberra ACT, heavily influenced by the sounds of The Chainsmokers, Marshmello and Machine Gun Kelly.
At the age of 5, Griegz started drum lessons and was the drummer in many bands throughout his schooling. These bands covered genres ranging from jazz and blues, through to punk rock and metal. Living in the country, keeping bands together became challenging once entering the workforce with members moving on for work. The next best option for Griegz was to start tinkering around with different samples and creating beats on various digital audio workstations.
When not in the studio, you’ll find Griegz behind the decks at nightclubs, events or private functions sharing his passion for music with the people on the dance floor. He also has his own business providing sound and lighting for nightclubs and touring DJ’s. Griegz has come to appreciate all styles of music and has found music to be his escape. He has met and had the privilege of working with many big names in the industry and had songs played on radio in the United States, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Music is a gift Griegz gets to appreciate everyday.
