Zosia is a multi-talented recording artist and creative out of Los Angeles who not only manifests her artistic impressions in music but is also a flourishing visual artist and creates her own fashion pieces.
As a standout singer, songwriter and producer, Zosia has crafted a compelling catalog of music which pushes the envelope in both a lyrical and soundscape perspective. She distinguishes her works with content matter that is intimately introspective and reflective of hot topics affecting the state of the world. Her sound is also an eclectic, brilliant mesh of a variety of sub-genres in the electronic, pop and alternative space.
Zosia’s latest single is another example of her keen focus on matters of the world as she boldly tackles a cover version of the Muse breakthrough hit from 2003, “Time Is Running Out”. Zosia innovatively injects a unique twist and her signature style onto the classic track while still maintaining the core provocative concepts and underlying tenets of rebellion that the original version delves into. Zosia explains the inspiration behind her decision to do this cover version and her ultimate intent….
“Time Is Running Out” has been one of my favorite songs since I first heard it on alternative radio in the early 2000’s. Muse’s epic production and themes of resistance have influenced my own songwriting and style for years. It felt so natural for me to put my own spin on this timeless song. When I sing it, I imagine I’m addressing political leaders and climate change skeptics, urging them to recognize the severity of the climate crisis. Experts say we only have a few years to prevent the worst impacts of climate change, so our time really is running out. To highlight this message, I chose to input a few words from Greta Thunberg’s speech during the 2019 UN climate action summit. I love the passion in her voice and the directness of her message. We need to keep our focus on the climate, and I want to do what I can to support this message.

Zosia co-produced her rendition of “Time Is Running Out” with Kazush and James Gordon while Guy Gabriel manned the post-production mixing duties. The sonics and production of this song are luminous and project an expansive aura as the instrumentation consists of an intriguing group of cinematic drops and hits, theatrical risers, ambient melodious phrases and a pulsating kick/bass drum.
Zosia fills the sound expanse with an emotive, dynamic vocal performance which showcases her plush, ethereal vocals. Her voice projects an authenticity that is extremely engaging and ropes you further into the song as her powerful vocal presentation resonates across the track. She provides a resounding display which conveys the concept and illustrates her intentions ever so splendidly.

Zosia is a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer who creates dramatic pop music laced with cinematic sounds. Using her strong vocals and dynamic production, Zosia has built a world of her own filled with vulnerability and resilience. Her debut EP, “Symptoms of Nature,” chronicles a journey of existential reflection that began during a college course on death. While her lyrics often focus on battling the anxieties of living in a chaotic world, the songwriter explores meaning and truth in her intricately introspective music. Zosia (born Anneke Lada) began writing bubblegum pop music at the age of nine and dreamed of becoming the next Britney or Mandy. As her style matured and evolved, she took on the name of her Polish grandmother, a seamstress who fled Poland during World War II for a better life. Like her namesake, Zosia developed a love for sewing at a young age and often constructs clothes to suit her alter ego. Zosia is also a visual artist who creates all of her cover art and graphics.
