Max explains, the acronym DPC, “Dead Phone Calls” – has been borrowed from the so-called phenomenon “Phone calls from the dead”, in which people literally receive phone calls from a deceased person. . Today it is a fairly common phenomenon and has inspired several books and magazines catering to the followers of this kind of event and by the “EVP – Electronic Voice Phenomena” I am fascinated by unusual and strange phenomena, by the unknown universes, the unsolved mysteries and by everything that was simply “strange”.

Max incorporates these existential and mystical themes brilliantly into his latest single, “Revolution Day” which is accompanied by a jaw dropping music video (YouTube link below).

The video is a wonderful collage of interchanging scenes of Dead Phone Calls performing the song against the compelling backdrop of a variety of raw, urban imagery in the Strahov district of Prague.

The “Revolution Day” video also contains an eye-catching blend of computer-generated imagery which carries a tremendous amount of symbolism which links back to the song’s concept.
