AR Base is Set to Drop a Dance Driven Track of Faith with “Borderline”
AR Base is a multi-faceted recording artist, songwriter and producer who has been writing songs since the age of seven.
He has compiled his musical influences and vast array of experiences to build a universal appeal for his current sound which is a brilliant fusion of hip-hop, R&B, gospel, and neo soul.
The concepts and messaging behind his songs are those of hope, determination, perseverance and Christian ideals and spirituality.
“I write my songs for everyone. The downtrodden, people who have fallen or given up. I want them to succeed in every area of their lives, so they can lay aside the weights that are holding them back and run the race before them.”

AR continues this standard of songwriting excellence with an eclectic track titled “Borderline” off his 8-track album Raging Soul which is set for release this coming Friday, July 2.
About “Borderline”
“Borderline” is a unique track that is driven by an energetic EDM inspired instrumental and layered with thought provoking lyrics centered around Christian faith.
AR says the inspiration to write the song is to “encourage those that believe in Jesus Christ, not to live on the fence, or succumb to pressure from the world, and to not be ashamed of the name “Jesus”.
I’m not ashamed
To shout out His name
Its just so lame
To lose God for fame
Shout it out loud
For all of the crowds
Or the rock will cry out
Excerpt from the bridge of “Borderline” AR Base
It’s such poignant lyricism that has come to characterize AR’s distinct style, particularly, as it relates to “Borderline”.
The song also distinguishes itself with an infectious danceability as the electric bass bounces in tandem with a dashing collection of rhythmic synths.
AR meets that energy head on and delivers a tremendous vocal performance that shifts masterfully between his rap flow and vibrant singing parts.
The manner of his inflections and how intent he projected each word makes it clear to hear what a heartfelt message this was for him.
