Following on from debut release ‘Too Many Times’, The Routine return with their follow-up single ‘Come Knocking At My Bedroom Door’.

‘Come Knocking At My Bedroom Door’ shows a slightly more mellow, and milder side of the band, but also demonstrates their appetite for an anthemic chorus.

The pulsating and driving rhythm is sprinkled with intricate and powerful guitars, as well as a melody that is sure to get stuck in the listeners head.

Formed in 2019, The Routine consists of Liam Palmer (vocals/rhythm guitar) once of The Royals U.K and former members of The Abstracts including Ben Taylor (lead guitar), Ben Nunn (bass) and Mark Thomson (drums).

Based across Cambridge and London, the band has spent lockdown harnessing their sound, creating a catalogue of stage-worthy songs and keeping their instruments tuned up in anticipation of a return to live music. Chugging guitars mingle with melodic harmonies, forging a rocktail of alternative styles.
