🎙️The lighthearted tune, written by Paul McCartney, was a diversion from the typical Beatles sound but the song made its way to commercial success and popularity worldwide.
🎙️It has also withstood the test of time as it has been covered by several artists since its release.
Other artists such as Marmalade, Jimmy Cliff, The Bedrocks, Peter Nero and Herb Alpert to name a few have released their own renditions of the record.
🎙️”Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da.” had relative success on the charts in the U.S. and Canada, but hit the #1 spot in other countries like Audstralia, New Zealand, Japan, Austria and Switzerland
