Kay’ore, whose real name is Kathe Traoré, is a Guinean American singer-songwriter who currently resides in Denver, Colorado.
Her music is a fusion of American & Afro-pop with hints of R&B.
Born to Guinean immigrant parents, she endeavors to mirror her culture in her music.
Kay’ore did not always possess the confidence she now has. While in college, she began to question who she really was.
Music offered her an answer and it quickly became her solace, as, through it, she discovered her identity.
While still in college, she released her first single in collaboration with her college-mate. This marked the beginning of her musical journey.
In 2019, Kay’ore signed to Rora Music, an Indie label established in Aurora, Colorado on which she has released “Supa” and today’s featured track, “Fever”.
“Fever” has an undeniable groove and danceability. Big time vibes for sure. It’s an excellent mesh of R&B and afrobeats elements.
Kay’ore’s vocals met and matched the upbeat instrumental extremely well as she delivered a vibrant performance. It definitely commanded a presence on the track.
Her impressive lead vocals are layered by a lush vocal arrangement of expressive background harmonies and melodies.
