🔷 2004 : The Fugees reunited for a concert hosted by comedian Dave Chappelle on a corner in Brooklyn. Other performers at the show, which later was released as the film Dave Chappelle’s Block Party, included Kanye West, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and The Roots.

🔷 1994 : The United States Postal Service issued the Billie Holiday stamp to honor the singer.

🔷 1983 : Kiss made their first public appearance without their trademark make-up when they show up on MTV to promote their new album – and single – “Lick It Up.”

🔷 1981 : The Doors Greatest Hits album is certified Platinum.
