▶️ 2018 : Barry Gibb of The Bee Gees is knighted by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace.

▶️ 1999 : Pearl Jam scored their biggest Hot 100 hit when “Last Kiss,” a cover of a song from the ’60s, reached #2, held off the top spot by Jennifer Lopez’ first single, “If You Had My Love“.

▶️ 1979 : The Village People became the first disco act to perform at Madison Square Garden.

▶️ 1976: With his breakout album Live Bullet climbing the charts, Bob Seger played his first headlining stadium show, performing to 59,000 at the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan.
