Singer-songwriter and composer A-Zal (Atif Afzal) is back with a vibrant new single, “Movie Script.” “Movie Script” is only A-Zal’s fifth single, but his fourth single of the year. Although A-Zal may have debuted in 2022 with “Perfect” as a singer-songwriter, A-Zal has quite an impressive industry resume.

A-Zal is an accomplished and renowned composer that has collaborated with major Hollywood studios such as Marvel, CBS, and Netflix. He has composed soundtracks for television series such as Ms. Marvel, Loki, NCIS: Los Angeles, and The Twilight Zone, and for films such as Resort to Love, Prague, Pune 52, Monsoon Shootout, and Baji. His original score for Monsoon Shootout earned him critical acclaim at the Festival de Cannes in 2013. So, it is quite apropos that his latest song is titled, “Movie Script.”

“Movie Script” is a Pop song with a lot of pizzaz. The track isn’t a quintessential Pop record as it has synthy and funky elements to it as well. The song has a ton of energy, and makes listeners want to get up and groove. The catchiness of the record makes its success so far not a surprise. “Movie Script” has garnered an abundance of airplay on radio stations throughout the US and UK. The single reached #114 on the US Mediabase charts.

A-Zal accompanied the single with a music video. The music video is a movie (literally). The self-directed music video uses greenscreens and radiant colors to bring the song to life. He also has captivating dance moves that further the fun-filled, upbeat theme of the song.

A-Zal is on a mission to become the first Indian-origin music artist to top the American music charts. The rookie-veteran is well on his way to accomplishing this feat. A-Zal has a lot more incredible music in store. While we wait for the next drop, dance and sing along to “Movie Script.”
