Please tell us a bit about your background, where you’re from etc. What were your early music influences?
Only about myself I know to tell, this is a well-known song here in Israel, so here please, my story.
I was born in Israel, as a different person. When you are born a person who is different from everyone else you have some sort of beginning of another life. Being stuttering is really not easy and more so with hereditary disease (fmf), my life is not a collection of silk robes and maids who take care of me for everything, there is no such thing.
I have been through so many disasters in life that no one can imagine how I am still living here and being interviewed by you.
What was the defining moment or time in your life when you decided to pursue music on a professional level?
At 18 I knew I had something, that God had given me some inexplicable talent. I have no way of explaining it because it is something so mystical and cosmic that I have no ability so I started writing, and within two years I had four stunning books.
Only at 22 did I have a feeling it was now or never; it was my time to scratch my scratch in this world and then I started my career. I released four albums in the first month and the plate of my talent spun. An artist must make it as if he is breathing.

How would you characterize your sound and what inspires your creativity? Is it actual life events/experiences or just a vibe that you get into?
For me everything is mystical, I have no idea why. There are some artists whose careers have been like this, and I am one of them. Life is not only black and white, there is also gray in the middle (well I had more colors).
Please tell us what inspired you to compose your latest single, “I am Greedy”. Is there a backstory? Where were you at when the ideas and melodies hit you?
This song is a wonderful story about how a hit was born that spun the electronic world on its little finger. This song was composed in five minutes because I had a one-time tune. When I finished composing, I heard this song and immediately I had a feeling it would be my hit, when it’s it, it was it. This song has had countless plays on radio stations all over the world, I was interviewed all over the world and thanks to this song is the radio shows on TV and magazines, I appeared thanks to this song on Times Square Radio. This song has something that is not and never will be any song in the world.

Your music has received significant radio airplay across the globe. Congratulations on that success. Why do you believe your music resonates so well with music listeners and people in charge of radio programming?
My success in the world stems solely because God loves me. If God had not given me my career there would not have been one thing that would come out of me, maybe I would have been in the grave.
Of your five album releases, which one would you say best represents your personality the most? Which album did you enjoy composing and recording the most?
I have close to 200 songs in this career, there are so many things from each song that represent what I am selling to this world. Every person sells something to this world, there are those who sell beauty, there is money, there is reason, I sell my talent and the huge success I have had.
What’s the best advice you’ve been given; either personally or professionally?
Life is what you make of it, so let’s make it rock (a song by Hannah Montana but it’s so worth it).

What activities do you enjoy outside of your music endeavors?
Stage performance is something amazing :).
We love to hear what type of music other recording artists are vibing to. What are a few songs that are personally on repeat for you or at the top of the pack in your personal playlist?
I love listening to songs from all over the world, songs from the eighties, songs in Hebrew that were in Israel once and of course I’m a huge fan of Britney Spears, this is Britney bitch!
What’s next up musically for you as 2022 approaches and beyond? Any projects, features or live shows on the horizon? What’s your goal for the Or Golan artist brand?
After all the money I earned in my career was stolen from me because it is in no way allowed to sign with record companies in this world, and after the police in Israel closed my case because they thought it was nonsense, my sweethearts, I have nothing left to do anymore. OR GOLAN was hysterical in the world, did so many things more than any other artist and thank you so much for that.
