On this day in music history April 13, 1973, iconic reggae band, Bob Marley & The Wailers released their fifth studio album titled Catch a Fire via Island Records, which was the band’s first release on their new label. The album would go on to be a landmark moment for the group as its success catapulted Marley and the Wailers into international recording stars, which ultimately pushed reggae music into the forefront of music across the world.
