SnapDibz is an independent American born Indian rapper who continues to make waves on the commercial pop/hip-hop landscape as he injects a refreshingly unique style of music that is inimitable in a period where many rappers settle on aiming to just sound like the others.

The extremely talented creative brings an invigorating sense of innovation with each song he drops as the tracks in his catalog spotlight his distinct flow and approach to his craft as a rapper. SnapDibz continues on his prolific pace of releasing music that dates back to his debut EP Levels in 2020, with a profoundly emotional new single release titled “Memory Lane”.

Snap partners up once again with pop singer extraordinaire Rey Khan on their fifth single together as the two continue their flourishing collaborative efforts, following up on a string of exceptional tracks including their most recent smash project “On My Mind”.

“Memory Lane” is a chill-hop, lo-fi influenced track with a mellow soundscape that touches on Snap’s longing for a woman who was his friend, lover and riding partner that he tragically lost to cancer. The track’s deeply sentimental lyrics vividly take you through the emotional struggles he encounters as he “reminisces on her while driving down a metaphorical and physical “memory lane”. Snap’s emotive rap flow and presentation is backed by the silky vocal cords of Rey on the impassioned chorus.

Wherever you go

I’ll keep thinking of you

Reminiscing in my memory lane

I have to let go

But I’m feeling so blue

Reminiscing in my memory lane

Snap conveys the emotion and concept of “Memory Lane” in a spectacular fashion as the authenticity pours out in each word he emotes. The lyrical wizardry on display is outstanding in this track and it’s a testament to the creative skillset of Snap how he cohesively brings it all together into a touching and heartwarming song.

Another stand out factor of the song which distinguishes it from the pack is also how Rey’s vocals on the chorus are angelically placed in the background while Snap delivers his poignant rap. To me, it symbolizes kind of the ethereal voice that would be in Snap’s head as he reflects…daydreams about the woman he lost.

The sonics of “Memory Lane” fits this pensive, introspective vibe perfectly as it has an overwhelmingly dreamy, earthy aura to it. The overall tone in many respects is harmonically haunting as the instrumentation possesses a design tastefully draped in an ambient reverb. With that said, this track is driven by its incredibly descriptive lyricism and touching content.

Ever since the day that you escaped from your misery

I’ve been riding solo down the highway of memories

Just to catch a sign, a little sense that you’re here with me

How I long to hear you sing the songs that you feel with me

SnapDibz Bio

SnapDibz is an independent American born Indian rapper who is making waves across the globe with his unique style in todays commercial pop/hip-hop world. After many years of creating underground music with DJ Dibz, the duo collapsed but Snap continues to keep SnapDibz alive.

SnapDibz released his first professionally produced EP “Levels,” in 2020 and the EP introduced SnapDibz to the world. The popular track “You and I” and hip-hop banger “Masterplan” led the way. Two months later, “The Climb” was released, which was SnapDibz’s response to the Covid pandemic. The song was one of hope and unity and the music video touched the hearts of many healthcare workers and others alike. Many singles followed with various sounds showing SnapDibz’s versatility including “Unbreakable,” the pure hip-hop banger with its unique blend of Indian fusion and the 2020 closer “Done Believing,” which has been compared by many to Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way you Lie,” as it blends the beautiful melodic female chorus with Snap’s quick hitting verses.

SnapDibz is currently working on a collaboration project with the pop sensation Rey Khan, who SnapDibz has worked with in the past as well. The first recent release from the project was “Backwards in my Head,” which has now became the most streamed SnapDibz song on Spotify approaching a quarter million streams. On January 7th, 2022, SnapDibz will bring in the new year with “On My Mind,” the 4th release from the SnapDibz and Rey collaboration project …. a track you don’t want to miss!
