Worcester, MA based trio Lielack has surged onto the music scene as a rapidly emerging band since their debut single “Nu4U” last year. Lielack was founded in 2021, rising out of the amicable split of the trio’s previous band called Dearbones and is comprised of musical savants Jason Pascucci (Vocals), Andrew Quinn (Guitar), and Jacob Blondin (Drums).

Jason, Andrew and Jacob have come together to form an electrifying group that is the forerunners of what they call the Nu-Punk sound. It’s a style of music that is characterized by a merge of “radiant pop and punk” and Lielack has displayed the extraordinary elements of the innovative sound on their catalog or releases thus far.

Lielack assuredly continues the Nu-Punk surge they created with their new single release “Blossom”, which is a high-spirited, dynamic song driven by an enthralling lead guitar that’s lively and also gravitates you to the track with its crisp melodic and rhythmic phrasings.

Lielack – Blossom

“Blossom” tackles the theme of young love and how people tend to dismiss the validity of feelings or seriousness involved in it, however, the love experience may not always be a fleeting thing.

Lielack explains it further, “Young love isn’t always just young love. Despite how real and powerful it felt as high school kids we were constantly reminded by our parents and others that were just young and in love and we had our whole lives ahead of us and it’s just a phase. This song is basically a nana-boo-boo stick your head in doo-doo to all the nay-sayers”.

“Blossom” has such a clever, perceptive lyricism that it easily conjures up vivid images in your mind as you take in each word of the energetic vocal performance. The lyrics give you astounding insight into just how authentic and powerful the emotions of young love can be for the parties involved. A huge round of applause on the songwriting as it conveys the theme magnificently.

Yeah
I tried to put the bottle down
No one was left
They not around and
I thought that God had got me through
I’m starting to think it all was you and

The lyrical wizardry of “Blossom” is equally matched by the standout soundscape that as mentioned before is propelled by a charged-up guitar section, but the overall tone and aura of the song is also supported with a snappy drum track and an appealing medley of chord progressions. Extremely harmonically pleasing and creates an effervescent vibe.

Kisses on my scars
There’s distance, not too far
I’m all in ain’t foldin’
I got you, you’re golden
