During an interview on Breakfast Club with his Silk Sonic partner, Anderson .Paak., Bruno spoke about people accusing him of cultural appropriation after he sparked an online debate about “his racial ambiguity to cross genres” in music back in 2018.

Bunny Wailer, a founding member of the Wailers, the Jamaican group he founded with Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, which helped bring reggae music to a worldwide audience, died March 2 in Jamaica. He was 73. The death was announced by his manager, Maxine Stowe.
Kat Cunning revisits dance roots in video for “Confident”-watch
Alt-pop singer and actor Kat Cunning released “Confident” as their first song of 2021 along with a new video for the track. “Confident” is the first music from Cunning since the acoustic version of “King Of Shadow” in December. The new dark and moody video sees them dancing in a smoky room with an entourage.

On Sunday, the Grammy-nominated singer and actor won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in the Lee Daniels-directed drama The United States vs. Billie Holiday. Two days later, she received a congratulatory bouquet of flowers from Beyoncé , who wrote in her note that Day makes “us all so proud.”
