Chicago rapper , G Herbo, whose birth name is Herbert Wright III, and several members of his music crew are facing federal fraudulent charges.

Federal authorities initially arrested Strong in Chicago earlier this year on September 25. He was then extradited to Massachusetts to face charges, the 22-page court document reads.

The ruling judge noted that Strong was “alleged to be the ringleader of a $1.5 million fraud” that included the use of other people’s identity.

Authorities allege that the group utilized social media to relay information on stolen identities.
