Dropping infectious hip-hop tracks already seems like second nature for up and coming rapper Elan Suave, a 16-year-old from New York City.
His latest single “Dangerous”, released in July, is another highlight in Suave’s already-impressive discography.
Starting only two years ago at age 14, Suave has since released a series of singles and EPs. On “Dangerous”, however, Suave seems to be on top of his game – the best he’s been so far.
The track pulsates with a hypnotic trap beat laced with a dark, mysterious overall vibe. The single’s cover art and title also contribute to its serious tone, suggesting a more matured direction for Suave.

His flow is tight on each verse and shows off his talent as a rapper experienced in the hip hop game.
The chorus is sharp and catchy with earworm hooks that’ll get stuck in your head after one listen.
Sonically, “Dangerous” is mellow but danceable, easy to play loud in the car or in the club – due in part to it’s immaculate production.
The beat is mixed perfectly and fits well with Suave’s voice which is both lyrical and dazedly aggressive. The track is impressive to say the least, especially coming from a rapper as young as 16 who can drop heat just as well as the biggest trap artists.
The combination of smooth production and Suave’s unique vocal delivery makes “Dangerous” just an all-around banger of a track.
Suave is bringing a refreshing energy to the trap genre and we’re excited to see where he goes from here.
