Rapper Megan Thee Stallion took to her Instagram Live this past Thursday and publicly accused Canadian recording artist Tory Lanez (Daystar Peterson) of shooting her in the foot after a heated dispute last month in Los Angeles.
You shot me,” she exclaimed emphatically as she directly addressed Lanez in the IG Live video.
She also went on to say “And you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying and s**t. Stop lying!”
“Why lie? I don’t understand.” the WAP rapper declared.
In what may have been a precursor to Thursday’s startling allegations, Megan posted and then deleted a graphic picture of the gunshot wounds on her feet .
Possible Criminal Charges for Torey Lanez
At the time of the incident last month, Lanez was arrested and charged with possession of a concealed weapon but has not been charged in connection with the alleged shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
Lanez has never made a public statement regarding the incident and has not commented thus far on Megan’s allegations.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office has stated that the LAPD are conducting an ongoing investigation which could land Lanez in hot water.
He could face criminal charges of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm and personal use of a firearm.
However, at the moment, no updates have been provided from the LAPD investigations team.
